The Tampa Bay Mitigation Bank (TBMB) provides pre-approved
mitigation opportunities to projects located in the Tampa Bay Basin (portions
of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Pasco Counties). Click here for

the methodology used to create the bank. The TBMB was awarded
2nd place in the 17th Annual Future of the Region Award by the Tampa Bay
Regional Planning Council.
Credits Available for:
- Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD)
- Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)
- US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
- Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission (EPC)
Types of Credits Available:
- Estuarine and tidal forest (SWFWMD, FDEP, USACE)
State UMAM credits; Federal WRAP credits (the predecessor
to UMAM)
- Estuarine and freshwater (EPC)
Oligahaline (transitional or freshwater/brackish) credits
available Summer 2010
